Coda Rocks Kitchener

Coda returned to the Schwaben Club stage to celebrate the music of Led Zeppelin this past weekend. Despite sparse ticket sales, most likely due to other events happening in the area, those who were in attendance witnessed three high energy sets of all the Zeppelin classics.
Not strangers to the KW area, Coda, Robert (vocals), Kelly (drums), Adj (guitar) and their newest member Warren (bass/keys), entertained the crowd for over three hours.
They effortlessly performed songs from the entire Zeppelin catalogue, replicating studio and live versions of the songs that made the legendary rock band famous throughout the ‘60s and ’70s. Pulling out all stops, Coda made sure to include the crowd during sing-a-long parts in ‘Black Dog’ and asking the crowd if they remembered laughter during the anthem ‘Stairway to Heaven’.
The haunting, keyboard driven ‘No Quarter’ showcased newest member Warren’s talents on keyboards while guitarist Adrian channeled Jimmy Page by making the strings on his Les Paul scream with a bow during ‘Dazed and Confused’.
The three sets included songs that any Led Zeppelin fans would know and enjoy. These guys excel with their instruments (vocals included). They have performed throughout Southern Ontario and continue to impress audiences whenever they step on stage.
Their next show is Canada Day at the Milton Fairgrounds. If you’re a Zeppelin fan, this is the band to go out and see.
